Seek Out Support (SOS)
The SOS suicide prevention program if designed to provide patients (>14 years old) with low to moderate risk of suicide or self-harm, access to unlimited short term therapeutic support for a period of up to 2 months. Not designed to support patients with chronic or long term mental health concerns.
LGBTIQA+ Stream
Psychology sessions for people who identify as LGBTQIA+ or have concerns in relation to their experience of sexuality or gender.
Perinatal Stream
Psychology sessions for women who are pregnant, or have a child 12 months or younger.
Flood Stream
Psychology sessions for those impacted by the 2021/2022 floods within the Nepean Blue Mountains region. These include the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas.
Co-morbid Alcohol and/or Other Drugs stream
Psychology sessions for peoople with co-existing substance use and mental health issues, both of which are clinically and/or socially significant.
Children and Young People (aged 0-25)
Psychology sessions are available for children and young people aged 0-25 years of age who reside in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith areas. The person or their family must have a Centrelink issued healthcare or pension card to access this service.
Publicly available mental health information and self-help resources.
Self-help resources and low intensity interventions, including digital mental health, group and peer supports.
A mix of self-help resources, including digital mental health and low intensity interventions. Also psychological services for individuals who require them.
High intensity services including periods of intensive intervention that may involve multidisciplinary support. Where issues may be persistent or episodic without a high level of risk, complexity or disability.
Intensive team-based specialist assessment and intervention (typically state/territory mental health services) with involvement from a range of different mental health professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, allied health workers, and GPs. Includes a high level of risk, disability or complexity.
