The garden follows basic permaculture principles and uses organic growing methods. It aims to provide a community space for people to RENEW, REFRESH and CONNECT. It continues today as a great community initiative employing these ideas:
Springwood Community Garden encourages gardeners of all levels of experience. We share knowledge with beginners - and each other. At our regular working bees, we also harvest whatever is available to share with members on the day. Thanks for becoming a member and joining us in growing our garden and community.

High intensity services including periods of intensive intervention that may involve multidisciplinary support. Where issues may be persistent or episodic without a high level of risk, complexity or disability.
Intensive team-based specialist assessment and intervention (typically state/territory mental health services) with involvement from a range of different mental health professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, allied health workers, and GPs. Includes a high level of risk, disability or complexity.
