Hello, I'm Richard
As a man, I am horrified by the shocking mental health statistics of Australian men. If I can help one other person feel comfortable talking about what is bothering them because I innately understand the difficulty many men have speaking up, I’ll have achieved what I want.
I understand the pressure to perform in corporate life and the stress this can create. I’m offering my experience to people looking to navigate career challenges, which is informed by personal experience and studies in counselling.
I also have personal, lived experience of witnessing acute mental health problems of people I loved from a very young age. This formative experience and the strategies I developed to overcome these difficult times is something I want to share with anyone else who is navigating the mental illness of a loved one.
