About

Aboriginal Counselling Services (ACS) is a 100% Aboriginal-owned business that provides intervention and therapeutic counselling for families, individuals and communities within NSW that is culturally sensitive and safe.

Our team includes counsellors and peer workers who support clients with grief and loss, drug and alcohol, gambling, financial hardship, family violence, sexual abuse, situational crisis and self-harm.

Our counselling approaches are through the lenses of culture, community and holistic well-being which we call “culturalistic”. Our counselling styles are not just based on one therapeutic approach as we may use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Narrative therapy.
