A group of voluntary carers created by Partners In Recovery to provide a platform that builds on the capacity of consumers and carers in the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (PHN).

The Consumer and Carer Advisory Committee (CACAC) is a voluntary advisory committee of consumers and carers that aims to review and provide advice about the policies, procedures, publications, business plans, design, evaluation, the consumer and carer workforce as well as safety and quality initiatives for the Mental Health Service in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NSW Government).

The Consumer Partnership Advisory Committee (CPAC) is a committee of ‘caregivers’ at the St John of God Hospital (Richmond) that reviews the information collected by consumer representatives about the facilities, programs and services of the hospital. Consumer and carer representatives talk to inpatients to gain input and then provide this information at a meeting with senior staff members where issues are discussed.
CPAC is associated with the Private Mental Health Consumer and Carer Network.
Meets Monthly on the 1st Monday of Every Month.

Mental Health Carers NSW is a community-based, non-government organisation that provides support, education and advocacy for the carers, family and friends of those experiencing mental illness across NSW. Mental Health Carers NSW provides support and education for carers by:
- Operating a telephone service
- Providing relevant referrals for carers (Carer Community Connections)
- Conducting research
- Compiling reports for Government bodies
- Supporting systemic advocacy on behalf of mental health carers
- Delivering relevant training and information
- Hosting industry-relevant forums
- Providing weekly electronic newsletters to carers across NSW
- Promoting other services via our website and social media means
