The Access team are the first point of contact and the intake service for people living in the Nepean Blue Mountains region who are experiencing acute mental health symptoms, for example; depression, anxiety, eating disorders and psychosis. You can call this team if, for example, you:
- have ideas or hallucinations of suicide/homicide
- are highly distressed or have acute mental health problems
- are not sure how to access help/care
The team provides comprehensive, mental health assessment, intervention, information about mental health and referral to the most appropriate clinical team or other treatment/support services.
Access Team operates 7 days a week 8.30am – 10:30pm (including public holidays), with on call clinicians after 10pm.
