The Consumer and Carer Advisory Committee (CACAC) is a voluntary advisory committee of consumers and carers that aims to review and provide advice about the policies, procedures, publications, business plans, design, evaluation and the consumer and carer workforce as well as safety and quality initiatives for the Mental Health Service in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NSW Government).

The Consumer Partnership Advisory Committee (CPAC) is a committee of ‘caregivers’ at the St John of God Hospital (Richmond) that reviews the information collected by consumer representatives about the facilities, programs and services of the hospital. Consumer representatives talk to inpatients to gain input and then provide this information at a meeting with senior staff members where issues are discussed.
CPAC is associated with the Private Mental Health Consumer and Carer Network.
Meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

The Headspace Penrith Youth Advisory Committee is a group of young people that provides advice on internal processes and service delivery at Headspace and also works on projects aimed at improving mental health literacy and reducing mental health stigma in the community.

Suicide Awareness – Let’s Talk Lithgow is a charity auspiced by Lithgow Information and Neighbourhood Centre to support local initiatives to educate and resource the local community in regards to suicide prevention. The network meets bi-monthly at LINC, 1 Padley Street, Lithgow.
