About

A free, 24-hour emergency/crisis service for people with acute psychiatric illness and/or distress, or experiencing suicidal crisis. It will direct people to the right care, allowing people with a mental health issue or experiencing a suicidal crisis to speak with a mental health professional about what they are experiencing. The mental health professionals staffing the line will assess the urgency of the call and make appropriate recommendations about follow up treatments. Carers, mental health professionals and emergency service workers can also access advice and relevant services.
