About

Little Dreamers support young people aged 4-25 who provide unpaid care for a family member affected by disability, chronic or mental illness, substance use or frail age. They offer:

  • School Holiday Program (ages 6+) - a day of social respite, meet fellow Young Carers and participate in a range of exciting activities
  • Coaching (ages 6-25) - a capacity building, goal oriented program which helps Young Carers to identify their goals and learn how to balance their needs with the needs of those they care for.
  • Counselling (ages 12-25) - a safe, supportive, and confidential space where Young Carers can explore their thoughts and feelings, build resilience, and develop strategies to manage life’s ups and downs
  • Peer Support (ages 6-25) - a group program where Young Carers can learn from shared experiences while enjoying interactive games and activities to stimulate discussions focused on health and wellbeing, identity, and caring roles.

Applications for support can be made by young carers or referrers at: NSW: Apply for Support – Little Dreamers Australia
