ACON is NSW's leading health organisation specialising in community health, inclusion and HIV responses, for people of diverse sexualities and genders. ACON offers confidential, free and state-wide peer support or non-judgemental short-term care coordination and counselling for LGBTQ+ people aged 18 years or older seeking support for experiences of mental distress, suicidal thoughts or for people who have recently made a suicide attempt or are at high risk of suicide.

Intensive team-based specialist assessment and intervention (typically state/territory mental health services) with involvement from a range of different mental health professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, allied health workers, and GPs. Includes a high level of risk, disability or complexity.
